Matter of fact I went out on Sun Cruz last night (rainy)and hit two small jackpots on video poker, I go 2 or 3Xs a month, sometimes on Sterling. I like Sterling's video poker at the bar, but prefer Sun Cruz for the below reasons.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I gotta go with Sun Cruz, her's why: they have 2 bands (real bands not reggie steel drummers), everywhere on the ship you can see out while playing, you can walk all around the outside, not just stuck in the back, they have a real sports book (a blast during football/basketball season), they have an outdoor bar on the back of the ship, I think the slots & video poker are much looser, they have cash back, good hot food all you can eat ($5 or free if you go alot), they get out and back a litte before Sterling (big deal if you want out of PC quick), where they dock is PC party ground zero if you want to stay awhile, the employees love working there with very little turnover, I know bartenders & dealers that have been there since they started 10 years ago, it's for serious gambling, Serling is packed, really, really packed right now with people who just want a free cruse some free cold rolls w/meat (the joke is they are cold so you can catch one) and these folks play $2 total in nichols, they put one in every once in awhile to snag a free drink, but I guess most important is seeing that BIG AMERICAN FLAG waving on the back of the ship. It's the only US flagged pax ship at PC.

It takes about 40 mins to get 3 miles offshore, they leave at 11:00 & 19:00 daily, sometimes if a bus is late departure is delayed. There are two 3 card poker tables, a $5 and $10 min bet. Yes there are people who stay there all cruise, especially the $5 table. Bring a pen with you, and write your name on your ticket and place it at a spot at either table under a drink holder, on the way out go by and check on it once in awhile, you should have no problem. I like 3 card but if it's full I'll sit at the C. stud table right across from both 3 cards and play until some one gets up. C stud was at $62K last night. A dealer told me that there's only a 40% chance they will open (players too) so I usually always bet no matter what I have, basically playing blind but looking first. BTW: the snow birds are down in force so both ships are in an odd funk right now.

I forgot the players club probably won't help much on 1 trip unless you bet alot playing cards, it should get you $5 in tokens on a new sign up though. Ask the pit boss for a comp after playing awhile, never know.

Thanks JTJ you have been a big help I am glad to here they have two 3-card tables as it has become very popular At Foxwoods they have 12 tables and they are always full-- carib. stud is ok but to me all you are playing for is the big bucks-- if the dealer does not qualify you get next to nothing thanks for the heads up on the ticket marker -- also does the players club give you free admission or is it free anyway???? thanks again see you down there in March!!!!!!!
