bjcruiser Posted January 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2020 I know nothing about this port. We were going to do a beach day in St. lucia not sure what to do in the new port. We like beach days, and island tours. WE like to get to know the locals. any suggestions would be great we are there tomorrow. I assuming we will have to get something at the port. cruiseapril Posted January 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2020 We did an island tour on Martinique. It included St. Pierre and the volcano museum, a trip through the Rain Forest, time at Balata Gardens, and time at Balata Church. Balata Gardens were very nice. palolake Posted February 23, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2020 We also did an island tour. I can't remember the name but it was highly recommended. The problem was the roads. I have NEVER, in 27 cruises, been on an island that had so many curves. I thought Dominica was bad but this was terrible!. Curves where you couldn't see up ahead again and again. Our tour guide actually had a motion sickness recipe that she always had with her. It didn't help! I get motion sickness and I would have asked for the front seat if I'd known how horrible it would be. I threw up when we got to the waterfalls. We also had St. Lucia cancelled and I'm looking for something different.
palolake Posted February 23, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2020 It was http://www.karamboletoursmartinique.com/nos-circuits/pile-et-face-56.html?lang=en. The tour was very nice IF you don't get motion sickness.
