Pullman Question

Hi!  I'm sailing in an inside cabin on the Empress this summer.  It looks like I will probably be stuck with the pullman because I am the smallest in the group.  This may be a weird question, but I'm wondering if I bought a magnetic shelf if I could put it on the wall next to my bed.  I like to have my stuff next to me (water, eye drops, etc.).  When I look at the pictures online, it looks like there is a mirror or something that might get in the way.  Anyone have any insight?  Thanks!
