Good News - Travel Insurance

We  have cruised with Princes a fair amount of time and are now elite.  We have always bought their trip insurance.  We buy the standard insurance but are now bumped up to platinum.  
Unfortunately, because of illness, we had to cancel our cruise this January.  The ease of filling a claim was amazing; doctor's statement, itinerary and booking confirmation was all that was needed to file the claim.  It was a week when we followed up and the insurance company had already approved the claim in full and said that a check was being mailed.
This was a last minute health issue, we were due to sail on January 12th, I saw my doctor on January 7th and she recommended not to travel.  I am impressed by the quick service and again, the ease of filing.  There are differences in the standard vs platinum and of course the platinum does cost more.  
Buy insurance!
