St Maartan

Hi guys, we are taking another Clipper cruise from St Maartan in a few weeks time. Embarkation is at 4pm - does anyone know if you can check in / leave bags before this time ? We are staying in Simpson bay but would like to drop bags & have lunch in town.

Just back from Star Flyer out of SXM.  There is not much "town" around the port area.  You would probably have to take the water taxi from the check in tent over to Front Street to find a restaurant.  I think they charge 7$ per person each way.  You may do better for lunch at Simpson Bay.

 

In any event give SC a call and they should be able to answer your question.

Thanks - I booked the Holland House hotel for lunch & they will keep our bags while we look around & we can then board at 4pm. We have had lunch there before & always good - hope you had a great cruise

Stayed at the Holland House and they do have great food and service.  Enjoy!

closest restaurant to port is Chesterfields which is maybe 10-15 minutes walk but they do have good food.

 It is good - it has been there ages as we used to use it when I was crew working onboard many many years ago in the 90's
