coppermouse Posted January 20, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2020 We are diving to Florida later this year and need your help with the following items. 1) Hotel recommendations near Port Canaveral 2) Is the parking at the port and how much per day? Thank you.
jalves Posted January 20, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2020 1) We've used the Residence Inn several times in the past, but we now live only an hour away from the port and thus just drive over the morning of the cruise. 2) Parking for a week was $136 when we sailed on the Harmony 1/12. LizzieandLuke Posted January 20, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2020 We stayed at the Radisson and left our car there for the week and took the shuttle to and from the ship. I would highly recommend it.

Thank you. Homewood Suites, Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and Radisson At The Port. All offer a Park and cruise rate. Parking at the port is $17 per day and they also charge for the day you leave...so you pay 8 days for a 7 day cruise. But it is so convenient to be able to walk right out of the terminal and straight to your car!! ****. This is based on our experience at Terminal 1....Royal Caribbean**** Edited January 20, 2020 by GTO-Girl

luv2sailAgain Posted January 20, 2020 #7 Share Posted January 20, 2020 Port Canaveral was a great port for our family vacation last summer. We stayed at Homewood Suites and enjoyed it. I used HH points and got a good deal. My parents got the rate that allowed you to stay the night, leave your car parked for the week, and the shuttle service. the parking was just at the back of the hotel lot. My sister stayed at the Days Inn, I think, with the park and cruise rate. After living through a couple floods here in Houston, I preferred covered parking off the ground level. We also wanted to arrive at the port much earlier than my family members and didn't want to rely on a shuttle. I am such a worrier. I parked right at the cruise terminal and it was so easy. I didn't mind paying extra. All of us had a great experience.
