Dining for 2 on Sensation

Only our second cruise...Picked open dining for flexibility.  Hubby can not eat passed 6:30 pm.  Should I try to change to early dining set time if it is still possible ?  With NCL we had no issues eating when we preferred and making reservations for speciality dining but that was 2 years ago, never been on carnavel.

If you must be in the dining room by 6:30, you really don't have much flexibility. With YTD you will be able to get to the dining room a little earlier. With fixed time you will go at exactly 6:00 each night and avoid the line of folks waiting to be assigned a table as you will have the same table each night.

with your time dinning, the dinning room usually opens around 5:45/5:30. check the fun times for the exact time. make a reservation around that time and you should be fine. the best part with your time dinning, you always get a table for 2. if you do set time, you might be at a table with others
