Need recommendation for Sail Away party on NCL Joy..

Hi guys & gals- I am looking for a place to have a Sail Away party for our April 12th NCL Joy cruise from LA port to the Mexican Riviera..I thought of the Waves Bar on deck 16 starboard side, or Spice H2O on deck 17 in the aft, though I suspect that area might be pretty crowded .Perhaps somewhere on deck 8 on The Waterfront? We should have a view as we leave, of course...any thoughts & opinions? Thanks!
