Half Moon Tender Port?

We're VIP but have never used the tender port priority option. The few times we were in a tender port we had an shore excursion through the ship. We will be going to Half Moon Cay with the grandkids. Most likely will not have an excursion with this port. From people who are VIP (we're Platinum) what has the been the experience on getting off the ship if you want to do it early?

 

I don't know if we will be getting off early, but really depends on the grandkids. We frankly could wait, but don't know yet on what they want to do... But if we have the option to get off early I don't mind doing it. Since we really are not there for a long time.

They give you a meeting place onboard the ship, and once you arrive there, someone escorts you onto the water shuttle. It’s really easy. Incidentally, they are not called tenders anymore. They are water shuttles.

Thanks! yeah I know they started calling them water shuttles... Just an old habit... 😁

You're not alone. I'll always think of them & refer to them as 'Tenders' instead of 'Water Shuttles'....

I think if you have children it would be easier to wait. Why stress about getting in early. It’s a relaxed day and you will not miss anything or do without by waiting. We all know children do things on a slower pace and sometimes we have meltdowns. If the parents are rushing to get to the first shuttle it’s hard. So if you are all ready to go fine but don’t rush it.
