NCL Blackjack question

I searched the threads but was unable to find the answer to my question. How many decks does NCL use in a shoe? And more importantly do they shuffle a new shoe after those 6? decks, or do they use a continuous shuffling machine? This will be my first trip on NCL.

I know Carnival uses the CSMs, and they are horrible...benefit=house!

TIA,

$50.00 a hand is an eight deck shoe that is hand shuffled. Dealer hits soft 17.

$25.00 and less is continuous shuffle. Dealer hits soft 17.

$100.00 and up is six decks hand shuffled dealer holds on soft 17.

Anything less than $25.00 pays 6:5 Continuous shuffle.

I did hear from two CAS reps that if it is slow you can ask for the $50.00 table to be lowered to $25.00.  That would be sweet.

I will be on the Bliss in May and I am actually trying to learn craps.  I plan on playing craps and VP a lot and then the $50.00 table when I feel froggy.  I will say I had the best run of my life in the high limit room on the Bliss.

It looks like you are an CCL player.  NCL's CAS is wonderful.  I really don't play a whole lot and I have an inside cabin comp anytime, anywhere I want to go.  When I played on CCL I was limited to whatever cruises they would offer.
