Alaska time or ship time

Hi all traveling on Ovation on June 12. We will be in Juneau on June 14 at noon according to cruise planner.  I’m booking an independent whale/glacier tour. But now I’m stumped if time zone will change. I was going to pick 1pm local just to be sure.  We leave at 9 and tour is 5 hours.  Is this ok you think?

Ask the independent tour operator.  They should know what time the ship generally gets in (and leaves).

Typically Ovation will change time as it sails North towards Alaska.   While in Juneau the ship *should* be on local time.

Thank you.  I found a compass from last year and it looks like the time did change instead of ship time. 🙂
