Weather/Pool Temps in June

Recommended Posts

My family is considering taking our family trip aboard one of the Carnival cruises that leaves out of NY and goes to Canada. Anyone know what the weather is like? We are really beach going people, but we want to go out of NY vice FL to keep the price down. (Don't need airfare if we leave out of NY). Also, we can do a short cruise which is cheaper. We have several children and they would want to go to the beach and also get into the pool. I talked to two Carnival representatives one said they heat the pool and one said the water is "still" warm in June even though its not heater. I'm thinking the beach (if there is one) in Nova Scotia would be cold. Does anyone know?

My wife and I went in July two years ago. It was to cold for me to get into the water in Canada. As for the pools, we never used it. However we are booked on a June cruise this year and are taking the kids this time, so we will be using the pool and water slide. I do think that the pool are heated, but I'm not sure.
