Splendor 5/12 Venice to Rome revised to Athens to Athens

So bummed so learn they changed this itinerary. I understand they had no choice but was hoping for the best. They are only giving a future credit no refunds. Not crazy about the new itinerary so I guess Italy will have to wait for sometime in the future.

We’ve been to a lot of those ports - it’s a great itinerary.  Disappointing, I know, if your sights are set on Italy...but there are a lot of cool ports to visit, IMO.

 

We had a cruise to Istanbul booked once and they changed about 65% of the itinerary and ended up in Israel.  I wasn’t too crazy about the revised route as we really wanted to get back to Istanbul, but we accepted the change and it ended up being one of out most interesting cruises.

 

I believe as long as we go into it with a sense of wonder and adventure, just about any Regent cruise can be memorable.
