Tour booked in Nawiliwili - do I need a rental car too?

I have a 1 hour flight booked for a tour while in Nawiliwil, we're here from 7am - 5pm. I wanted to go and see Pupoi Beach and thought this might be the only way of getting there? Do you think we need to get the rental car aswell, or do you think we'll see enough on the tour and be able to do other things around the port?

I would still have the rental car. Poipu Beach is a great place to visit - you won't get to really appreciate it from the air. There are beaches around Nawiliwili but the good ones are a distance from the port.

Ke'e Beach is very nice, but it's quite a drive to get there. Poipu is much easier to access and not very far away from Lihue/Nawiliwili area. If you're looking for views of big surf though, the Ke'e Beach area is your best bet.
