Rare Tapi Posted March 10, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2020 Hi! I have friends who are booked on the Disney Fantasy departing on May 30th (first cruise ever, after a lot of convincing). With the new policies, they can cancel the cruise and get a credit that they can use within the next year. They are considering canceling the cruise and waiting until later on, but they may need to go on 3-4 night cruise instead which would leave a substantial amount of credit unused. They want to know if they'll be allowed to use the remaining credit as onboard credit. They have been emailing and calling their TA for a few days now, trying to obtain an answer to that question, but the TA is probably overwhelmed and hasn't replied, which is why I'm reaching out on Cruise Critic to see if anybody has received an answer to this query. Any information will be greatly appreciated!
Rare PandaBear62 Posted March 12, 2020 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2020 We received onboard credit for the difference between what we paid and our new cruise. About $200 per cabin.
