John,

Not sure what you mean by the four cabins have disappeared. I just looked at the deck plans, and they are there. Since you were not given a cabin assignment, have you checked online on your immigration form to see if your cabin number appears? I believe you go to the HAL website, and get to your immigration form with your booking number. Once in the form, look for where it tells you to print. This I believe won't have it print, but takes you to a pre-print display, and if your cabin has been assigned, it will appear on the form.

The status of any category changes back and forth several times due to many things including people canceling, heavy booking via internet and waiting for HAL reservations to catch up. You could also be one of the lucky ones..... it appears that there are several categories still open for being this close to sailing. It is possible that the upgrade fairy may have graced you, with HAL's hope of it being easier for them to sell out a cheaper VH cabin.

Best of luck!
