First time Alaska cruise; Questions about Zaandam

My husband and I are wondering what the difference is between a BB cabin and a B cabin. We are trying to decide where to reserve a cabin for a first time cruise (ever anywhere) on the Zaandam to Alaska in June. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

location -location - location -- the bs are closer to midships then the bbs - many people feel that the closer to midships you are the smoother the ride-- i personally would try for 6190
