Suites have mandatory non-refundable discounts.  That means if you book a suite and then later want to cancel or move your cruise, you are penalized $100 per person to do so.

 

We always book regular balconies and still do the NRD as we know unless something major happens we will go on the dates we booked.

 

But on suites you do not have the option of refundable deposits anymore.  Too many people would book and hold big suites and then cancel right before final, so Royal changed the policy.
