waterloogirl Posted February 8, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2006 We will be on the CB for the first time Mar4th. My in-laws (who are wonderful :) ) are coming with us this trip and are avid slot machine players. Can anyone post any info. on slot machine play on the CB (or any winning information in the casino at all) - is it worth to play or is casino too tight?? My husband and I thoroughly enjoy casino poker and will play much too often during the cruise I'm sure ;)
chrysalis Posted February 8, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2006 one winning combination in the casino is "an ace and jack" in at the Blackjack table ....and suggesting a winning combo on the slots is like trying to predict the weather in March.... cabana Posted February 8, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2006 There are tight, they should loosin them up a bit but that would mean less profit. And after all where are you going to go? down the street......... hey wait there is no street.

atlcple2 Posted February 8, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2006 We were on the CB this past September. We don't usually even go in the casino, but decided to play with $20 on that cruise and won over $200, so we thought we did pretty well considering we don't usually even gamble. From what I heard on the ship, a lot of people won a lot of $$ on the first 3 days of the cruise (7 night cruise) so I would suggest playing the slots the first few days. 2good2b Posted February 9, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2006 I don't know about the Caribbean Princess but I will after I return in March. I did win on the Star Princess two years ago. I put $20 in a dollar slot machine and won $5000 on the first pull.....talk about luck!:)
Redsgj Posted February 9, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 9, 2006 We were on the CB in January. We played the nickel slots. We limited our selves to $20 per night and by the end of the cruise we had broken even which was great! :D We actually won on the last night in order to break even. We didn't notice much of a change in the "tightness" during the cruise.
pamj9407 Posted February 9, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 9, 2006 2good2b That was very good luck! Q: How many days had you been sailing during that win? Just curious as to what another said about the best time seems to be during the first three days (on a 7-day cruise)? Thanks and keep up the good work! 2good2b Posted March 5, 2006 #9 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I won the $5000 on the last night of our cruise which was great because it didn't give me an opportunity to lose any of it!:p
chasetf Posted March 5, 2006 #10 Share Posted March 5, 2006 the winners always let everyone know how much they won. How come the loosers never post... "I dumped $500 in two nights" Best advertizing the casino could ever hope for...
Mikerio Posted March 5, 2006 #11 Share Posted March 5, 2006 Most slots in Vegas and the ones here in Kansas City will let you play max coins which is usually 3 to 5 coins at a time. On last cruise I went to play at the quarter video poker and put in 20.00. I pushed max play and it used all 80 credits at once! Read the machine carefully

"I dumped $500 in two nights" Best advertizing the casino could ever hope for... Here's one for you, no I didn't lose $500.00 but on the first night of the cruise I put $20.00 in a slot machine and lost it in about 5 mins. I'm not much of a gambler and I figured that 5 mins of entertainment for $20.00 was a bit heafty. That was it for me but...may try again on the May cruise! KAJOKG Posted March 5, 2006 #13 Share Posted March 5, 2006 I always win, or stay even, if I play the nickle machines using maximum bet. Not big money, but always cash in $150 or more. Of course, I give it back, but it's fun to play with their money. On the Caribbean Princess I played what I thought was a $1 machine, and realized after first spin that it was a $5 machine. I figured, what the heck and hit another spin, and hit for $145.So that turned out to be a nice $135 mistake. I did not play another $5 machine!!!!
