counting down the days to my 5/26 sailing on the brilliance and was wondering if anyone had any info on private tours in rome? was going to try and do the city on our own, but with limited time, i thought this might be a good alternative. thanx jackie

The only way to see Rome is to walk it. Here is Frommer's list of great walking tour companies to consider. I've done Enjoy Rome's ancient Rome and found it informative and a fairly comprehensive overview of the historical center.

We used [url="http://www.driverinrome.com"]www.driverinrome.com[/url] for both Florence and Rome and they were fantastic worry free fun filled days. Both cities offer so much to see it's almost overwhelming. You will not be disappointed using these tour guides. We had Daniele, Remo and Aldo and all of them were fabulous.
