Mexican Food

IS THERE Mexican food available most days on the voyager? Do they have different cuisines for lunch on the windjammer like carnival does. Last time we cruised we went into withdrawal from tacs and cheese dip!

Even the Mexican cruises...their Mexican food (when they have it) is insanely BAD! Best you can hope for - is to get REAL mexican food when in a Mexican port.

 

I'm from California...so, I'm spoiled with amazing Mexican food everywhere.

Only time I have seen it is at the midnight buffet on the Radiance. Your basic store bought crunchy corn shell tacos was about it though.

 

Seems there is a cruise line, maybe Disney or Princess that has a Mexican restaurant.

I don't remember any, or perhaps it wasn't worth remembering :D We did get some great Mexican Food in Cozumel.

I thought I saw chips, salsa and guacamole after lunch/before dinner in the windjammer. I know that doesn't really count...but if you add a margarita it MIGHT do the trick.

I was on the Jewel in January and all I remember seeing was a taco bar setup in the Windjammer. Wasn't there everyday. Was at the same place as the pizza.

if you are going to Cozumel, this is place for great food! Our favorite is La Choza, fabulous beef fajitas!!! I'm headed there on the 28th and I don't think I can wait to taste them again!

Also Casa Dennis, El Capitan de Navagante for seafood, and Panchos Backyard, ball don't compare to La Choza!!

As yummy as it is cheese dip is not actually a mexican dish. But you better bet I want my share too.

I wouldn't count on it! As concerned as you are - you might want to consider bringing a big bag (or two) of tortilla chips and some salsa and/or cheese dip to have in your room. Cause...even if they have the rare taco bar, they probably won't have chips and salsa or cheese dip.

We were on the Voyager in December. They have snacks in the Windjammer every afternoon from about 3-5pm. Every day they had a taco bar with crunchy corn shells and flour tortillas and all the fixings, and they had nachos too, with cheese sauce, etc. We are big Mexican eaters, and this is how we satisfied our Mexican food craving. The tacos and nachos were actually very good!!

you saved me racerswife. we were on the pride a few yearw age and just about crazy for something to munch on like salsa chips, cheese dip and chips or chex mix, we just wanted something for those late nights when we would get back to the cabin.( the post beer srinking munchies) we finally got the bartender in the casino to give us the bottom of an industrial-size bag to take to our cabin. There were a bunch of people at the pool that felt the same way. I dont want a whole cheesburger or icecream or slice of pizza just snacks!!!!

Snacks? Take them with you. I did. If people can smuggle alcohol, you can definitely smuggle chips & salsa.:D ;)
