Boarding Time

My DH and I are going on our first cruise with RCL on 3/5 and we just got all our paper work. As I was reading it, the book says to not arrive at the pier earlier than 2pm, however, I thought I was to understand that we could arrive around noon and get on board and have lunch. Am I wrong? Do we need to wait until 2 to arrive there? :confused:

Unless there was a problem unloading the previous cruise's passengers, you should be able to board at noon.

Same answer - even thought it says to get there no earlier than 2, you can usually board quite a bit earlier than that. What ship are you travelling on? We're on the Explorer on March 5.

Actually if you arrive by 11am you'll probably be on the buffet line before noon. ;)

Between 11 and 12... Depends on when those leaving the previous sailing all clear customs in a timely manner. Have an awesome vacation!

If you check out their website it says in one place to begin boarding at 2pm, but it also says (somewhere else) that passengers can board the ship at 11am. I'd go for the early bird special! :D
