As for the Pride, we're scheduled to sail on the same cruise as you! This will be our 8th time(if we go), and our second Halloween cruise. They do so much during this time, both for kids and adults. There are costume contests, halloween trivia, halloween themed desserts, decorations throughout the ship, and some people really go all out with their costumes! The staff is the best, and the ship is just the right size for us. It's an easy 2 and 1/2 hour drive too! If this gets cancelled, we'll just book for the same time next year, since we are bringing our 3 kids, their spouses, and the 5 grandkids, and they love Halloween! Well Hi right back neighbor! We honestly just realized we will be sailing over Halloween. We did a cruise over Halloween on HAL several years ago, but we were in Port in OSJ until Midnight and HAL is quite a bit more sedate than Carnival so they didn't do many activities. They did, however, have local kids from OSJ on the ship "Trick or Treating" around the various parts of the ship with the crew giving them treats. We will have to consider bringing costumes, which will be easy since we don't have to fly! We just asked our 3 kids if they were interested, but one is a Teacher and her DH is a Principle they can't get away during the school year, and the other 2 don't want to go if their Sister isn't going too! Bt it sounds like you will have a grat family experience! Hopefuly we will meet and have a chat on the cruise. Thank you for chiming in!
