must insure full price of cruise

 After final payment , I pay for a tour or order wine before the cruise for say $300 do I have to call and get insurance for it . to keep preexisting coverage for full cost of cruise.

You will want to be sure you understand how your policy defines the Trip Cost.

 

Most companies state you must insure 100% of your per person prepaid non-refundable trip costs, the trip cost typically means any prepaid trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions you pay prior to your departure and before something happens to cause you to cancel your trip.

 

Specifically, is the tour or order wine before the cruise subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions if you cancelled at the last minute.
