Recommended Posts

It has been reported that both the Carnival Valor and even bigger Carnival Magic cruise ships had been spotted off the coast of Torquay in South Devon (U.K.)

The Valor, which weighs in at 110,000 gross tonnes and carries almost 3,000 guests, was first spotted on Saturday, 13th June, 2020. Then Sunday the even bigger, Carnival Magic was also pictured off the South Devon coast. This huge ships weighs in at 130,000 gross tonnes and can hold almost 6,000 people - that 3690 guests.

What I don't know is why they are their? Laid-up, I suppose? but why Devon? Anyone?

Both of the ships pictured in your video are both the Valor.  It is easy to spot the Magic (or any Dream class ship) by the "fat" funnel as opposed to the "thin" funnel as well as by the exterior promenade that wraps around the entire  ship on deck 5.

However, the Magic, Breeze and Valor have been in Europe and the UK repatriating crew to answer your question.
