P&O Australia extend pause in to December, and reflex the cancellation policy.

 

Reported to the City this morning.

 

Sture Myrmell the P&O President of the brand, also said in his statement:

It is clear that society is not yet ready to return to sailing.

It doesn't surprise that Australia have extended the pause in cruising. There has been a large spike in cases there so it's a sensible move imho.

Ditto, Avril. And they mean business - a relative lives just outside Melbourne, in the lockdown area, and the police are stopping motorists and asking for proof of where they're going. They are only allowed 5km from their houses, and that's only for essential shopping etc, unless it's for, say, a hospital appointment. 

 

She finds it difficult to believe that in the UK those in the restricted areas can, say, go on holiday and they are - our local nosy parker on facebook took himself off to a local hotspot recently and interviewed some of them; quite a few were from Leicester. I was amazed he returned home unscathed...😲

Us Leicester people need holidays too 😉 we carry fake documents to show that we're from Derby though, just in case we accosted by locals in Cornwall.
