Daniel A Posted November 3, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2020 (edited) WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 3, 2020)—Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), which represents 95% of global ocean-going cruise capacity, announced today that its members would maintain the ongoing voluntary suspension of cruise operations in the U.S. through December 31, 2020, and that its members will use the remainder of the year to prepare for the implementation of extensive measures to address COVID-19 safety with the guidance of outside public health experts and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). https://cruising.org/en/news-and-research/press-room/2020/november/clia-cruise-line-members-voluntarily-extend-suspension-of-us-operations Edited November 3, 2020 by Daniel A
StanandJim Posted November 4, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 4, 2020 This may be just slightly off topic, but in our mid thirties we convinced ourselves to travel in the grand manner, even though we were not quite in that place financially, because our Parents, who had saved for a lifetime, suddenly had serious mobility issues. In other words, we decided not to risk becoming the richest people in our Cemetery. As the present situation becomes more insane, surreal and impossible to believe, we are realizing that decision was a gift. Sometimes the Universe guides us.......let it happen. 💐 7
