crilski Posted November 8, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 8, 2020 Booked for March 2021. What % of the ship will be occupied? And will ship excursions be required to get off the ship? If ship excursions are required - will the price be adjusted to make them more reasonable? After our cruise with Windstar, we'll be staying in Tahiti for another 2 weeks - therefore, I want my own excursions.
susiesan Posted November 10, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 10, 2020 I am also booked on a Tahiti cruise, Spirit on March 4. I need to know about being able to leave the ship on our own at each stop or being forced into Windstar excursions.
Windstar Cruises Posted November 24, 2020 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2020 Because COVID protocols are still in flux, we can’t definitively say what percentage of the ship will be occupied yet. With excursions, we understand this is a concern for many guests. We don’t know yet what the protocols will entail for ports around the world. We are waiting to see when it’s safe to start cruising again, and then we will follow COVID-19 policies to keep crew and guests safe. Pricing may need to be adjusted to allow for social distancing and other safety protocols, and they will likely increase. We are working closely with our partners to try to hold rates.
