Mocamps Posted November 11, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 11, 2020 We went on a one-off Regent cruise several years ago. We loved it but had a great late deal and there is NO WAY we will ever book a cruise at standard prices. But we get a ton of mailshots from Regent and I don't know how to stop them. At present we seem to be getting about 3 every week!! And one was a whole catalogue of every cruise they do so the postage must be massive and I'm sure they could use the money right now. They all just go straight into the recycling. Any advice?
Pcardad Posted November 11, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 11, 2020 Call them and ask to be removed - it takes about 30 days.
DaveFr Posted November 11, 2020 #3 Share Posted November 11, 2020 (edited) You can open the Regent website and scroll down to the bottom of the screen. Then click on “UPDATE MARKETING PREFERENCES“ and, in Step 1, indicate that you want to be removed from all lists. It’s worth giving it a try. Hope this helps. Mocamps Posted November 11, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted November 11, 2020 Thank you very much. I have now done this so hopefully that will save them some money and they can bring their prices down. We would love to sail with Regent again!!
GrJ Berkshire Posted November 12, 2020 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2020 Interesting how far ahead the recent mail shots are advertising ; late 2021, early 2022. Makes you think no cruises for at least 6 months?
Pcardad Posted November 12, 2020 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2020 Makes me think reduced capacity for first half of 2021.......
Dolebludger Posted November 24, 2020 #7 Share Posted November 24, 2020 We have been getting increased Regent mailings recently. That’s not a problem for us, as we get a lot of other advertising mail also. Prices seem high.
