I believe a TA posted last year that she attended a talk by CEO Fain where it was mentioned that the loyalty programs were probably going to be combined "in the future". Based on this, when I was on the Zenith last Dec., I asked the onboard booking person about this and her response was, it would never happen because Celeb did not have short cruises and RCL has many, implying the credit earning was easier in RCL. Well, the new fact is that Zenith is now going to start 5 dayers next year, so I believe that makes that point moot.

 

Also, a friend of mine has an inside with a Capt Club staffer and was told that the programs would be combined at the end of this year. I think it is coming.

 

I think the appropriate thing to do is to have the "status" interchangeable, i.e. diamond for elite, etc. not the numbers of cruises totaled. That, at least, would be a little limiting.
