Poker on Constellation?

My son is cruising with us on his first cruise. With all this poker craze, do they now have anything that may resemble poker tables on the ship? I know there is Blackjack, and the usual others.

no poker table on board last time I was there. I don't think casino's make as much w/ the rake as they make with the house odds on other table games. So, with limited floor space, most ships don't include poker tables.

As of right now, there is no Texas Hold 'Em on Celebrity ships. However, I did speak with one of the Casino Managers about 2 months ago, and he said, they ARE trying to find a way to put it on the ships. Will it actually happen ? I do not know, but that is what I heard.

They have three card poker, where it's almost impossible to get a seat because it's so popular. Not Stud or Texas Hold 'Em poker.

Hey, This is me from our little group asking about Texas Hold 'em. My 29 yr old single son is in our group of 6 and is a fanatic about Texas Hold 'em. If there is a tournement, he's there. (He was the last holdout of our kids coming on the cruise and has never cruised before). DEB

Was told on a recent Mercury cruise that they don't play Texas Hold'em because it is too slow. The house cannot make enough money

Remember there is a card room on the ship.

What you play with other passangers - they do not get involved with.

 

So if you can find enough players you can get a private game going.

My last visit to AC... I noticed a new version of Texas hold'em that all the casino's are playing... it's more like Caribbean Stud and Three card...

 

It's nowhere near as slow as what you see on TV... it's just you against the dealer... ante, bonus bet, and 3 bets on the table ... kinda like Let it Ride....

 

They also have 4 card poker in AC now..... (I've no idea how to play that).
