Escape trivia and games venue

Thinking about a 2022 Fall Transatlantic cruise on Escape. DW and I took a Transatlantic cruise on Breakaway in 2018 - loved the ship and dining venues but absolutely hated that almost all trivia and games were held in the central Atrium - where people camped out for hours ( alternative for the closed pool, I guess) and seating was at a premium for these events. Is there an alternative venue where trivia and games are held on Escape?

Nope. It is held in the atrium. Along with a lot of the game shows.

We did a Transatlantic on Getaway in October 2019. Most of the trivia and games were in the Atrium. If you manage to get a seat, it's good. If not, it's a real pain. 

 

We participated in the progressive trivia. The cruise director Vincent had the brilliant idea to move progressive trivia to the main dining room. It worked so well! There were so many participants. There was room for everyone. And, no background noise!

 

If you are trivia fans, do progressive. It's really a lot of fun.

i wouldn't be surprised if things are changed when cruising resumes regarding  trivia and similar types of events... what was may not be done, may be done differently or may different venues... will have to wait and see...

I have been to them at places like Spiniker or another lounge, but yes, they are most often in the Atrium & yes, it is extremely difficult to get a seat. Who knows how it will be done in the future.
