Wish Carnival would have cruises from Philly

My family and I took a cruise out of Philly before and loved it. We paid more for the cruise but saved airfare so no big deal. the port of Philly was great and so friendly. I really wish Carnival would use this port more. It is so much nicer and easier to get to than NY.

Norweign cruises from Phila a lot. I know the Carnival LEgend sailed from here when she first came to the seas.

But the prices...ouch! It is cheaper to buy airfare and sail from Florida port then to sail from home.

Have you used New Yorks port yet> I am taking a cruise on the Legend out of New York to nowhere in October. We decided to use Amtrak to get there because I heard the parking and getting in and out is a nightmare.

I also wish that there were more cruises out of Philly. I think that the main problem is that people from the Phila area can easily drive to the ports out of NY and Baltimore, so the cruiselines would rather sail out of those cities and be able to draw people from the north for NY and from the south for Baltimore.

Yes we have cruised out of NY before and it was not a great experience.
