Has anyone been to Xcaret lately?

I was wondering if Xcaret was damaged by the recent hurricanes? I am thinking of planning a week around that area or in Playa del Carmen. We just got back from a cruise that stopped in Cozumel and it was heart breaking. I don't think I can handle seeing the destruction for a entire week.

The Riviera Maya was largely untouched by Wilma, particularly the southern areas down by Tulum or Akumal. Beautiful place.

 

Xcaret is open for business - has been for a while.

 

Cancun is recouperating still, but the beach reconstruction is under way, and most hotels are back open for business.

 

Playa del Carmen is still in pretty good shape.
