June sailings - Payment extensions

Just an FYI for those with June 2021 sailings scheduled your final payment date, like mine is probably here.

I called Carnival yesterday and had 0 wait time on the phone.

I was able to get my final payment moved to May without any issue. ( 45 days out)

That should be plenty of time to await the next round of cancellations if they come.

As far as I know and have been told numerous times, although the final payment can be extended, the penalty date stays the same.  So, if you don't make final payment on the regular due date, but cancel before the extended date, you still will have a penalty with deposits.  Obviously, this is if you cancel and not Carnival.  Then it is no problem.
