How much to park at Miami port?

Parents are driving for our Freedom cruise. We are staying at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami precruise. How much does it cost to park at the port? Holiday Inn offer parking for guest if they leave on a cruise at their normal per day rate of I think $10?

It is a hefty $12/day.

Correct...last time I was there it was $12 per day, payable upon exit (do not gamble away your parking money!).

It is $12 a day unless you have a handicap card for your car. In the city of Miami parking is FREE for handicap vehicles. I do Love cruising out of Miami!

Pricey but convenient!

 

I like being able to just walk right across the street to the ship. If I ever start to moan about the price of parking all I have to do is think of how much we used to spend on airfare before we lived here. That shuts me up pronto.

Thanks, by doing the math it's actually better to pay $12 for 7 days ($84) then to pay $10 a day at the hotel and the taxi ride to the port ($10) and back ($10) to get the car after the cruise ($90). It's a lot more convient to park at the port too.
