Scottish Cruiser Posted February 14, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2006 We are taking the Panama cruise on Holland America's Volendam next year. After we go through the Canal we will go up the west coast to Vancouver. Does the ship sail close enough to land to see it from the starboard side, or are we better off enjoying the sunsets on the port side?
springtxbill Posted February 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2006 Ships usually stay in International waters therefore are at least 12 miles from shore. Not much to see if you can. Enjoy the sunsets.:)
