NavArch64 Posted June 8, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2021 Reposted from Roll Call Nieuw Amsterdam July 31 - Seattle 7d RT Alaska ....... We don't yet know what the Conditional Sailing Certificate (CSC) for the Nieuw Amsterdam either says or will say ... we don't currently know what the HAL application for the CSC says. We don't know if the the CSC has been issued to HAL by the CDC or when it will be issued. This is certainly a new experience for everyone. I would like HAL to send us a copy of the CSC when it is issued. If anyone here finds out how to get a copy, please let us know ... or better still .... post it here. chengkp75 Posted June 8, 2021 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2021 The CSC itself will likely have very little detail about what you are interested in. It will likely simply state that the cruise line's Covid operations manual has been approved, and that if the vessel follows this manual, then the certificate is valid. Far more information would be included in the cruise line's own Covid manual (or the additions to the ISM code pertinent to covid), and there is little to no hope of seeing this, as the ISM is a restricted document. 2
NavArch64 Posted June 8, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted June 8, 2021 Good points. It would be interesting to know when, at least, the CSC has been issued.
