Where is the Port for the Golden Princess In New York?

if the golden leaves from the manhattan cruise piers (pr 86 to 88) you will sail right next to the statue on the way out.

if the golden sails from the new red hook pier you will either pass right next to the statue, or very near by. (depending on which way the ship departs the dock, and goes around governors island)

if you sail from port liberty (actually new jersey) (i think i have only seen rccl using that pier though) you will be about 2 miles from the statue. you can see the statue from there, but it is not quite as nice as being right beside it!

That's great news. I am sure that will be a very emotionally exciting start to what promises to be a wonderful voyage. I am going to surprise mom for her 80th Birthday. She immigrated to the United States on the Bremen Line in 1960, so I am sure this will be awesome.
