Flying Club Points

Can these be used towards Virgin Voyages? I’m tempted to book a 4 night UK staycation but would want to use the points if possible, which I’m left with after a cancelled Virgin holiday from 2020.

If you are lucky enough to have around quarterer of a million points then you can use points to pay in full for the Portsmouth sailings this summer. Links to the info and dates below. There is also a way to pay for the cruise via Virgin Holidays, every 3,000 points you spend takes £16.50 (Points Plus Money: Save on Virgin Voyages 3,000+ points). Using the Virgin Holidays route to mix points and cash means you will also need to buy a flight from Virgin Holidays too.

Hi! If you download the Virgin Red app and link it to you flying club account it gives you a easy route for redemption for the UK cruises and other rewards. Especially helpful if you don’t have enough points for a flight reward and just fancy a Greggs sausage roll?

Thank you! I’ve got almost 100k and could transfer more, but not enough to pay in full and won’t be adding flights on so don’t think I can do a bit of both. I’ll just keep saving them up for next time (not a sausage roll fan!)

Can we earn rewards with Virgin for these cruises? I'm going on one in October, but I haven't signed up for any kind of frequent traveler program with Virgin.

Ive booked my voyage in August (UK) using my points - never been on a cruise before so thought if we were not that keen would not be too much of a loss!!

I must say - Virgin Red been very good / helpful if you do book using points
