Future start up plans?

Has anyone seen any longer range plans from Viking for starting up other ships/cruises?  I am asking about beyond Iceland, Malta, and British isles.  We are booked on our first Viking cruise on Star, which transits the Panama Canal in November.  Our final payment is due Jul 31.  The boards for our usual line, Regent, are full of news and rumors about the startup plans and what happens if a cruise is cancelled before or after final payment, but not much on this forum.  Since we are new to Viking, we would appreciate any info or thoughts from experienced Vikings.
