crisstyd Posted August 12, 2021 #26 Share Posted August 12, 2021 I never add the guests until very close to the date. You never know if you need to change names. It just makes it easier to add them later if something happens.I book under me and TBD the rest, even my husband.

I've just logged into Carnival website, went to change passenger's name & info, clicked "Save". Went back & rechecked, it updated to new passenger's name. It can't be that easy, is it...? Wow, sounds like you were able to get it done. I agree it's probably because you are before the final payment date, so generally they allow more flexibility. Congrats, and enjoy your cruise! dezertcruzer Posted August 12, 2021 #28 Share Posted August 12, 2021 Navy Cruiser, I don't have any constructive advice for you, but I just wanted to let you know that I understand your frustration. I would take the approach that had the cruise happened on any one of the 3 previously reserved dates, Mother would have certainly taken the cruise. Now, however, she is unable to do so, and because SHE didn't postpone the cruise until she was no longer able to go, would they please show some understanding in the need to change to a different passenger. Good luck.
