Now with mask & testing will Carnival change its enforcement rules onboard?

Carnival has been very lax about onboard covid safety.
1) not enforcing mask for unvaccinated passengers

2) no social distancing

3) over crowed dining rooms with little  table spacing

4) self serve buffet

5) not turning away guests who arrive before scheduled check in

will Carnival take a 180 and make changes while integrating the new mask rules. Or will they continue to be stupidly blind to obvious and simple precautions?

1) addressed by everyone masking and self-policing

2) ditto

3) the space on cruise ships is fixed and isn't going to change. last year there was discussion of rotating passengers between mdr and room service for meals. I'd rather eat dinner in the mdr, thank you.

4) Covid is primarily airborne, not so much by surface contact

5) when I cruised, they were checking arrival times and there was a separate line for early arrivals.

3. We would be fine with room service. In fact, all over the boards, there are often people discussing that they wish Carnival would offer more and better room service options, even if there is a fee.  Of course, we do our own room service, fix a plate in the marketplace (or any walk up) and carry it to the room ourselves.

Carnival has been very lax about enforcing any rules for the last 10+ years. Why should enforcing Covid rules be any different?

How is it a vacation to be on a ship with more rules than your own hometown or city? Sounds like a floating prison. No thanks.

Someone that's afraid of covid shouldn't be cruising anyways.

We're on the Mardi Gras now and it's a great time no masks and nobody cares.

We also won't be cruising again until the mask onboard garbage is over with. I got vaccinated to cruise maskless and that's all I'll do.
