So technically you could add those promo codes yourself when making a booking? And several promo codes are allowed simultaneously? 🙂

No, they are codes that are applied to your booking based on current deals/promotions. I created the list so cruisers could understand what the details are on there particular booking.

LATTITUDE Insider offer or pick of the month 1 extra latitude point per night
LATTITUDES Insider offer code 1 extra latitude point per night

These should only have two Ts, not 3. 🙂

Also, on Aug 30, 2023 we posted the following addition to this thread but it somehow got missed in the update:

RR0DG    Ambassador Tier Comp Cruise

(Yes, we did both get our "free" cruises last year!)

We are not allowed to input the codes, so no. Several codes can be there at the same time.

My booking was re-fared due to price drop. Have a new promo code "NATOBC3". In looking at my perks, it might be $100 obc x 2 ($100 per passenger).

Have two new ones which I don't see on the list.

FOBC

TPNET50

Do you have any details on what is included with your booking?

FOBC is likely some form of On Board Credit

TPNET50 is likely extra benefits including some type of free/discounted or extra internet

LATBONUS 1 extra latitudes point per night

I'm cruising on the Joy tomorrow and booked under the Latitudes insider double offer. This code isn't included in my summary (or any other LAT code that would indicate a double points offer). Should I call before we sail, or is it something they can adjust onboard? They also screwed up my husband's latitudes number and assigned him a random new one so I wonder if that negated the insider offer?

It would, the insider offers are only valid if you have previously sailed with NCL.

Thanks, I will call again. I already called to ask them to merge his now multiple latitudes numbers but hadn't noticed the missing double points code. The current reservation with the new latitutdes number shows him as "past guest" but doesn't show his latitudes status.

I have a booking I just made with CAS using a free cruise certificate form a land casino, for a COMP inside room I upgraded to a Balcony. I see the codes CASINOSR and METASR that are probably related to that type of booking that aren't on the list.

Cruse also has the Latitude double points and the Shareholder benefit applied but those are known.

@MathMusic Thanks for the new codes, I will add them to the next list.  Do you know what the codes mean?

Guessing that CASINOSR is to indicate that is was booked on a comp cruise certificate, and METASR is related to the upgrade to a balcony - although METAUP indicates a room class upgrade, the SR may tie the upgrade to the comp.

@WillCruiseForMoney I agree with your guesses as to what the codes seem to mean.

The only other thing that could potentially be relavent is I booked with some $100 off coupons that dropped into my account but I think that's treated like a credit, I am not sure if that would hit the promo list.

To compare, I looked at my last trip I just got back from where I booked an inside comp room without upgrading and I had a flat META on that trip.

These are the codes from a comp certificate trip without an upgrade:

We booked the Prima a few days ago with an insider offer of double points.  The code "Lattitude", nor anything else that would indicate double points does not appear on the invoice.  I have spent close to 2 hours talking to various people at NCL, all of which assured me that it is indeed a double points cruise and the code "Latrew", which does appear, will get me my double points.  I finally got a supervisor to pay attention and check further.  She came back and said that it is an IT issue and she has put in a ticket and I should have a new invoice within a few days.  Surely this will go well with their crack IT department.  I have told them that we will cancel if this is not corrected before final payment.  If it is not on the invoice and we don't get the points after cruising, there will be nothing I can do or say to get them.  Anyone else had a problem like this?

The code LATITUDE (without the double T!) must appear on the invoice to get your points, you should keep chasing it.  Note that "sailway" rates don't get extra points, just the "free at sea" rates (which are shown on the invoice as EASYFARE).

Also, if you reprice later (if the price has dropped) when an offer is no longer available, the offer will usually disappear.  On the other side, you might get a new offer that's in effect at the time you reprice.

That's why I didn't accept the word of the first 4 people I spoke with who assured me that I would get the points.  Without the code, I don't think I will get the points and after the cruise is taken, it will be too late to argue.  I have told the reps that if I don't get the code on the invoice before final payment, I will cancel the cruise.
