Just off the Breeze

If you've been debating whether or not to cruise right now, do it!

First of all, we were stressed to the hilt with a move into a new (fixer upper house) and have another cruise booked

for the end of November but the rate for this one was unbeatable so we did it.

First the bad:
CVS lost my husband's Covid test results, we could NOT get them. Paid $300 the night before we left to get a rapid test.

Hopefully his insurance will reimburse us but if not, it was worth it.

Then we get in line to get on the ship and he realizes he doesn't have his driver's license. That was HORRIBLE. I didn't think they'd let us on

without it but they did! We figured out where it was (Covid testing place) and they texted a picture of it and the staff was amazing

and kind (especially since it was our long delayed honeymoon).

After that huge and awful stress, every thing else was wonderful.

The food in the dining room at dinner the first night was not good at all so we did buffet and deli & pizza the rest of the trip for dinner.

The sea day brunch was fantastic.

Staff was so friendly and happy to see us.

Cookie the cruise director is the only cruise director I've ever really liked or noticed. He is so fun!

Cozumel was weird, we were the only ship there, it was sad to see. The vendors were way more aggressive than usual. We got some great deals.

Ate lunch, shopped and got back on board.

We had an inside cabin and it was perfectly fine.

Truly a great trip.

Glad to hear you had a great trip after so much stress.

We were on the Breeze's first sailing back in July and we really enjoyed it also.

Totally agree with you in regards to Cookie - on our cruise he said his goal is to be interviewing people on the red carpet some day, and I can that happening (great personality)! 🙂

Bad (or good?) timing. I was on Mardi Gras last week and Breeze was there (along with Symphony of the Seas). This was on the 6th. It didn't feel too crowded but MG was late getting in and we only hung out for a little while before our excursion.
