At least at YC not. I've searched for switch off....

So on the sides is nothing, my screen was totally fixed, so no chance to see the back

I usually like the tv on to fall asleep to.

Meh - I guess I'll just drink more. 😵

We had an inside room on Meraviglia her first season. The tv in that room was so close to the wall, I couldn't (chose not to try to) access an HDMI connection. The pics I've seen of balcony cabins indicate that you may be able to access HDMI connections. Beyond that, you'd still have to access input. I will pack a cable on the next cruise just in case.

Just to close the loop on this - I remembered to look, and our YIN tv at least, did indeed have an HDMI connection in it.

I didn't use it or try to - but it's there.

Yes there is a HDMI input on the side of the TV.

Unfortunately that HDMI connection is of no use.

The TV has it's own software which disables the access to HDMI port.
I even called the guest services and she said that port is not usable.

That's sad.  I was hoping to bring my Amazon fire stick

I haven't tested myself, but you can try to turn off the "Hotel Mode" (also known as "Hospitality Mode") that prevent people using HDMI ports. For example, here is a video how to to it on Samsung TVs:

Thank you for posting this. We have done this with success at a hotel and I forgot all about it.
