new to the Royal app

We have a June 2022 cruise on Serenade to Alaska booked for myself, DH and two DS's.  It's been booked a long time and has been rescheduled twice due to Covid.  In the meantime, DH and I have a January 2022 cruise on Liberty coming up.  Our last cruise was before the app debuted.  I've downloaded it on my phone.  Can all four of us download the app and access the specific cruise, activities, etc?  When it's time for check-in (on either cruise), should I do that for all of us?

Yes and yes. I did check-in for my entire party of 5 adults. Later one party member logged in to update their passport.
