Did you arrange to rent the car from the airport or another location near Georgetown? AVIS says they will pick you up if it is within 5 miles. We walked about 4 -5 blocks to the Blue Iguana and were picked up there and taken to the airport. That is where their rental cars are. It worked well for us, because we were going to Rum Point and didn't have to drive through the traffic in town. Megg Posted February 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2006 We did the same as previous post. Once at the Blue Iguana store, the lady called AvisCayman and said we were ready for pick up.
