Recovered from Covid, when may I cruise?

Today after testing positive 10 days ago I have been cleared to go back to work. I contracted Covid 19 approximately 8 months after becoming fully vaccinated. I have a cruise booked out of New Jersey on Oasis next week. I will obviously have to test negative  2 days prior to sailing just like everybody else, assuming this goes well i will not be able to answer no to all the bording questions. Has anyone else found themselves in this predicament. Basically at this point I have recovered from Covid and have been fully vaccinated, but it sounds like I will be denied access. Not the end of the world, can always go at a later date.

I believe at least on some ocean cruiselines a note on letterhead signed by your doctor stating that you have recently recovered from Covid is sufficient.  In any case I would contact your cruise line ASAP for an answer.

Thanks, will give that a shot, cruiseline call was frustrating, must be a tough question for them to answer, i get it.

I wondered what would happen in this situation. It has to be pretty common. I will be curious what they tell you. One can test positive for quite awhile after.

Is this a Royal Caribbean cruise? I think you maybe posting on the wrong forum. This is for river cruises which sail on rivers.

Thanks for the positive thoughts, will let you know the outcome, RCCL Oasis out of Bayonne. Only river might be the Hudson.
