GMoney Posted September 21, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2021 Looking at booking a 3 night cruise on the Dream for the first time in a long time. Do they beds in balcony staterooms split in 2? Thanks.
freaky_82 Posted September 22, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2021 No, unfortunately Disney does not do the split bed thing. I stay with my mom in one cabin and one gets the big bed and the other one the converted sofa. The sofa is okay, not the most convenient sleeping arrangement but fine.
ArthurUSCG Posted September 22, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2021 Nope, but DCL designed the bed so the suitcases can fit underneath. We use a suitcase as a laundry hamper.

Every cruise ship I have been on has space under the bed for luggage storage.

Every cruise ship I have been on has space under the bed for luggage storage. I guess it is common now, but when DCL first started, it wasn't. Not all RCCL ships had the bed high enough for a full sized suitcase to fit underneath, just the smaller carry on size. I can remember being impressed when 3 large suitcases, full sized Graco carseat (folded flat) and Bob stroller (with rear wheels removed) fitted under the bed.
